Tea served at the Shasta House 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
This
is a self guided tour of four exceptional private gardens in the city of Shasta
Lake. Each beautiful garden will present a different gardener's plan for coping
with our climate extremes. At each garden besides a myriad of colorful flowers
and plants, you will find for your pleasure on this special day, artists or
craftsmen presenting their garden related works; many for sale. You will be
able to purchase plants at one of the gardens.
At Shasta House, again the beautiful setting for the tea, you will be
entertained by live musicians, playing soft chamber music. The musicians will
change every hour. Our costumed waiters and waitresses will serve you in the
most proper style. For your palate; a delicious selection of tea sandwiches and
tea cakes. Returning to our menu this year, by popular demand, are our
wonderful
scones. Imported English tea will be served.
